Bu hadisə Almaniya bayrağının tarixi olaraq qəbul edilir. 7 iyun 1950-ci ildə alınan qərara əsasən rənglərin mənası bərabərlik, ədalət və azadlıq olaraq təsdiqlənmiş və 3:5 proporsiyasında Almaniya dövlətinin rəsmi bayrağı olmuşdur.
